Short visit

The Hozz brothers take a short trip out into the hills to visit their parents.

I'm envisioning three scenes to make up this story.

First is the brothers driving up to their parents little cottage. It is totally obscured by trees and plants. In the front Hugh and Zack are talking about computer games, and in the back Ziggy and Oswald are doing word games.

The next scene is the family after dinner. Some food is still on the table and has migrated to Oswalds place. Durand is at the head of the table, and throws out odd comments. The brothers and Llieah are playing scrabble. Close scrutiny will reveal that a significant fraction of the tiles have runes on them. They are of course talking about something other than scrabble, except when spelling is involved.

The last scene is the boys driving off. As they are in the car one of them asks why they don't visit more often. Durand and Llieah are watching the sunset, and Durand mentions that every day here ends like the breath of life festival.
