Hozz is a nested speculative comical metaphor (NeSCoM). Each of the brothers in the comic is a eSCoM for the real life brothers. Some of the characters in the story (Heir_Colonel_Detlef and Larry_Landlord for example) are eSCoM for whole groups of characters in the story (the college teachers and landlords) and thereby also in real life. The entire twin-world story-line is, in the story, an eSCoM for Oswald's life.
The deeper you go in the nested structure, the more speculative and comical the metaphor becomes.
