Oswald and Zack attend The University, which is located near the city. It is a generalized liberal/technical school. Lots of labs, classrooms, dorms, out-buildings, and students.
What it does not have a lot of, is teachers. Prof. Detlef runs the concrete classes while Crystalisa handles the fuzzy studies. Could be played as a rivalry, where each thinks they could do the other's job better.
Architecture
I'm thinking a mixture of ivy covered traditional red brick buildings and ultra-modern plastic and glass inflatable geodesic domes. This could further underline the rivlary between Detlef and Crystalisa.
