Durand and Llieah flee Faierie with their three young sons.

Background

Something causes them to want to leave Faierie.

  • Something bad in Faierie:
    • Is it the Fayrie king threatening to conscript their sons?
    • Is it an enemy that Durand or Llieah have made?
    • Is it the violent social reaction to a Fay-Human marriage?
    • Is it fear that their sons will somehow endanger the Fay?
    • Is it to escape some prophecy?
    • Is it because they are tired of the scenery?
    • Is it because they are fed up with something personal?
  • Something good in Earth:
    • Is it because of some business opportunity on Earth?
    • Is it to give their family a better place to live?
    • Is it to be with friends or relatives?
    • Is it to enjoy the relative peace of terrestrial geology?

the Escape

I put this in Durand's page, but it goes here to since his personality is going to affect how he went about escaping. Oswald

So he's one or the other:

  • He's hardcore. This would mean that his escape would involve guns blazing, fire balls, massive destruction, and possibly physical scars.
  • He's a thinker. His escape would be clever and well planed. He slipped away without any notice or trace. He left a legacy and rumors that last to this day.

Combination

I particularly like the "escape the prophecy" one. Perhaps we could combine them all. An enemy who disaproves of Fay-Human marriage, prophesies that the Durand family, currently living in miserable conditions, will one day sire children who will overthrow the Fayrie King, leading him to decree that all of Durand's children are property of the Fay.
